Tram Overhead Works - Glenhuntly Road

In order to improve your local tram service, Yarra Trams upgraded the overhead tram wires along Glenhuntly Road between Kooyong Road and McGrath Street and between Masters Street and Booran Road in June 2007.

Overhead wires along tram tracks are used to transfer electricity to the tram via a tram’s pantograph and during overhead upgrades these wires are replaced.
