Tram Overhead Works - Church St & Bridge Rd

In order to improve your local tram service, Yarra Trams will be upgrading the tram overhead wiring from south of Hill Street in Church Street to Tudor Street in Bridge Road (Melway map 2H ref: K6 to G7) on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 July 2007.

Overhead wires along tram tracks are used to transfer electricity to the tram via a tram’s pantograph and during overhead upgrades these wires are replaced.
