tramTRACKER™ real-time tram arrival information by phone
tramTRACKER™ is available for all routes across the entire Yarra Trams network. It uses the latest real-time technology to track the whereabouts of all our trams and lets you know when your tram is due to arrive at your stop – via a friendly voice on the phone or by SMS.

tramTRACKER™ is easy to use. You can call from any phone, anywhere. It works from either your landline or your mobile. You can even get it via SMS.

How to use tramTRACKER™
First you need to know your Tracker Stop ID number.

We’ve given every tram stop its own Tracker Stop ID number. This four digit number is clearly displayed at your tram stop, available through Metlink on 131 638 or via our website at yarratrams.com.au

BY VOICE
CALL 1300 MY TRAM (1300 69 8726)

Then follow the prompts. The voice of tramTRACKER™ will deliver real-time tram arrival information for the tram stop of your choice.

For the next three trams at your stop, call 1300 MY TRAM (1300 69 8726) and enter your Tracker Stop ID followed by the # key.
1300 MY TRAM: IVR call cost $0.25/higher for STD/Mobiles

BY SMS
SMS your Tracker Stop ID to 199YARRA (1992772)

For the next three trams on a specific route, SMS your Tracker Stop ID and Route Number separated by the # key to 199YARRA (19992772). eg. 3802 # 57 to 1992772

199YARRA: SMS cost $0.55 inc. GST

If you forget these options, you can SMS a question mark ? to 199YARRA and you’ll receive a text message with the above options (note: this incurs another text message cost). Other options include scheduled and low floor tram information by route.
