Did you know?

The first 'Did you know?' card of the series. On board trams now.

Yarra Trams has launched a customer information campaign on board trams called ‘Did you know?’ involving a series of 10 quirky collector cards.

The campaign aims to provide some helpful hints for tram passengers in a fun and novel way.

Messages on the cards are as simple as hailing trams, validating your ticket, taking your rubbish with you and holding on when you are standing.

The hope is that the campaign will not only alleviate complaints but also manage customer expectations.

The cards feature an eye catching design with lively images on the front ranging from elephants to frogs and information on the back relating to the topic.

In conjunction, Yarra Trams is running a ‘Did you know?’ competition with an iPod touch and monthly Metcard up for grabs.

Details will be in ads in mX.  All you have to do to enter is collect the latest card visit this link and answer a simple question.

The first card explains why trams can’t wait for people who haven’t arrived at the stop.

A new card will be released every 10 days.
