Tram service changes will be in place for all St Kilda Road services while Melbourne celebrates Cadel's historic Tour de France victory.
The parade will begin at 12 noon at the corner of Linlithgow Avenue with Cadel riding up the southbound lane of St Kilda Road to finish at Federation Square where he will take the stage for the public reception.
Tram service changes will be in place from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
All of Australia cheered Cadel Evans home to victory in this year's Tour De France, and Yarra Trams is paying tribute to his historic achievement.
40 trams across the network are showing 'faces' celebrating the historic first ever victory by an Australian in Le Tour.
From everyone at Yarra Trams, a big 'good on ya' Cadel and best of luck for the rest of your career.
Yarra Trams is a joint venture between French public transport operator Keolis and Australia's DownerEDI.
Fold-up bicycles not exceeding 82cm long x 69cm high x 39cm wide are welcomed on all Yarra Trams services.
