Yarra Trams has introduced additional Sunday morning tram services on six St Kilda Road services.
An extra 28 services have been added to St Kilda Routes between 9am and 10.30am, meaning most routes will have a tram approximately every 20 minutes (instead of every 30 minutes).
We hope that improving the frequency of services earlier in the day will encourage you to leave the car in the garage and head out for a day in the city, to the beach or for a picnic in the Royal Botanical Gardens.
Currently more than 30,000 commuters board trams on St Kilda Road every weekend.
Additional Sunday morning services have been added to: Route 3a (Melbourne University - East Malvern via St Kilda) Route 5 (Melbourne University - Malvern) Route 6 (Melbourne University - Glen Iris) Route 64 (Melbourne University - East Brighton) Route 67 (Melbourne University - Carnegie) Route 72 (Melbourne University - Camberwell)
