Thank you Westgarth

Yarra Trams would like to thank the residents and traders of Westgarth for their patience and cooperation during tram track renewal works in High Street between 9 and 15 July.

We would also like to thank all Route 86 customers and motorists that use High Street, Westgarth.

The tram track renewal works were completed on 15 July. This is the first time the tracks have been renewed since 1955.

The new tracks will provide passengers with a smoother and quieter ride.

During the works, the foundations of two new accessible platform stops and the first elements of the streetscape improvements were completed.

Works on the platform stops and urban design elements will continue over the next two months.
