Yarra Trams and its staff members are enjoying recognition from the community thanks to two recent awards.
Camberwell Depot Customer Service Employee Donna Negrin was named the gold winner of the Customer Service Champion award by the International Customer Service Professionals (ICSP) at an awards dinner held as part of International Customer Service Week.
Donna was nominated for the award after being spotted at a city tram stop providing excellent customer service to passengers.
On the same night Kew tram driver Lenny Bates took home the My Customers Rule award in the public transport category of the awards.
Customer Feedback Manager Kate Hewitt and CSE Mark Louey were also nominated for awards.
Yarra Trams is committed to providing great customer service in all aspects of our business and it's encouraging that these team members have been recognised for their efforts.
Yarra Trams itself was the recipient of the 370 Degrees Group awards when it was named Electrical Host Employer of the Year amongst large businesses. The award recognised excellence in providing outstanding support and leadership to electrical apprentices.
