Melbourne's City Circle tourist tram has been named as one of the world's most talked about attractions on tripadvisor.com.
The site listed the two most reviewed attractions on each continent and in the South Pacific, choosing the City Circle to represent us alongside Sydney Harbour.
Other attractions on the list include the Eiffel Tower, New York's Central Park and the Panama Canal.
The City Circle tram began operating on Friday, 29 April 1994. In 2003 it was extended to Harbour Esplanade, Docklands and in 2009 to Waterfront City.
Trams operate in both directions every 12 minutes between 10am and 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday and between 10am and 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
For further information about the City Circle Tram, call 1800 800 007, visit ptv.vic.gov.au or visit the Melbourne Visitor Centre at Federation Square.
