Victorian Seniors Festival - Your time to celebrate
Get out and about during the Victorian Seniors Festival
with free travel on all metropolitan tram, train and bus services
from 7 to 14 October 2012.
All you need is your Victorian Seniors Card and you can
travel free on public transport in Melbourne and on regional town
bus services. There are also five days of free V/Line
services for Victorian Seniors Card holders on 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14
October 2012.
As the Victorian Seniors Festival celebrates its
30th year, older Victorians are once again spoilt for
choice, with more than 1000 events taking place across the
State.
Highlights of the 2012 Festival program
include:
- Opening day celebrations at Federation Square on Sunday 7
October
- The fabulous Melbourne Festival Hub at the Melbourne Town
Hall featuring concerts and shows
- Special 30th year Festival Hubs at Bendigo and
Ballarat
- A 30th year celebration performance tour
- 'Celebrating good eating' events hosted by many local
councils
- Veterans' Golf Classic
- Tennis Victoria Open Door Days
- Bowls Victoria Open Days

Coles stores, libraries, your local council, Neighbourhood Houses,
U3A offices or Life Activity Victoria clubs.
