February 2017 performance results

Yarra Trams delivered 98.56 per cent of services in February with 80.32 per cent of services arriving on time. Service delivery was 0.13 per cent higher than the same month last year, whilst punctuality was 1.59 per cent lower.

Additional services were operated in February to support the hundreds of thousands of people travelling to St Kilda Festival and White Night.

Tram improvement works at the Elizabeth Street terminus were successfully completed in February. These works ensures Yarra Trams is able to maintain a safe and reliable tram network. The renewed track will deliver a better road surface for cyclists and tram passengers, produce less tram noise due to potholes, broken rails and wheel squealing, and will be quicker to repair in the future due to the use of new semi resilient materials.
