Punctuality and service delivery were slightly down at the same time last year with 98.97 per cent of timetabled services delivered and 82.64 per cent of these services arriving on time.
The results were mainly affected by the construction of a new level-access platform stop at Wellington Parade, on-road incidents (including collisions with vehicles), the Spring Racing Carnival and third-party works that impacted punctuality on some lines.
Preparations for the Night Network are being finalised, which will see six lines operate 24 hours on the weekend from 1 January 2016. There is also a strong emphasis on maintaining a high level of service in the busy lead up to summer.
