Advertising on trams and at stops
Yarra Trams is anticipating disruption to tram services on Wednesday 4 July due to a rally by construction workers and unions.
The rally will commence at Trades Hall at 11am and is scheduled to march to Bourke Street via Lygon/Russell Street and then to Parliament House.
If trams are unable to use Bourke Street due to the march to Parliament House the following service changes will apply:
Route 86 and Route 96 will operate via La Trobe Street in both directions between Spencer Street and the intersection of Victoria Parade and Nicholson Street.
A shuttle tram service will operate in Bourke Street terminating at Stop 7 Bourke and Russell Streets. There is no service between Stop 7 Bourke and Russell Streets, and Stop 11 Victoria Parade and Nicholson Street.
City Circle tram services will not operate between Stop 6 Flinders and Russell Streets, and Stop 10 Victoria Parade and Nicholson Street.
