Service changes apply on Route 82 trams on Sunday 15 January
from the first to last tram due to a public event in Footscray.
Route 82 trams will operate as Route
82a with buses replacing trams between Stop 53 Maribyrnong
College and Footscray Station, diverting around the festival.
The following stop changes will apply:
Stops 54, 62 and 63 will be closed and not serviced by trams or
Stop 53 towards Footscray will be replaced by a temporary bus
stop at the footpath.
Stop 64 will be closed and the replacement bus will use the
existing Route 223 bus stop in Irving St.
During this period, Route 82a trams and
replacement buses will operate to normal frequency, however may not
arrive at the scheduled time due to traffic congestion around the
festival. Please allow extra journey time.
