Melbourne is a great city to experience any time of the year and
the extensive public transport system makes it easy to for you to
discover the best that Melbourne has to offer.
If you are new to the tram system download a user guide containing important
information about the Yarra Trams network, ticketing and tram
frequency.

buses visit ptv.vic.gov.au. Additional information about
accessibility on trams is also available.
Melbourne has moved to a new ticketing system called myki.
Tickets are no longer sold on trams, so passengers should purchase
and top up a myki before travelling.
Tourists may also consider purchasing the myki Visitor Pack.
How to use myki
Melbourne's new ticket system myki is a reusable smart card that
can store either a myki pass (travel days) or myki money (dollar value) and
these are used to pay for your journey.
